• Amman

  Amman is the capital and largest city of Jordan. As it is situated on seven hills, it resembles Rome and was thus a popular place for Roman soldiers. In Amman there is a Roman forum and a Roman theatre which is still used for cultural and sports events. Tourists can also admire here some of the biggest mosques in the Middle East, such as King Abdullah I Mosque or Abu Darweesh Mosque.

• Aqaba

  Aqaba is Jordan's only seaport, located on the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea in the south of Jordan. Aqaba borders the Israeli city of Eilat. The town is rich in history, but it is ecpecilly known as a diving and beach resort with luxury hotels, good shopping and many activities for tourists. Aqaba can offer snorkelling, windwurfing, Scuba diving or swimming with sea turtles and dolphins.
